DAY 1   ARRIVE CAIRNS, AUSTRALIA              Welcome to Cairns, Australia. On arrival into Cairns Airport, you will be met and transferred by scheduled transfer to your accommodation located in the heart of the World's last untouched primeval rainforest - the Daintree. This morning join a Bird Watching River Tour, guided by Chris Dahlberg an avid bird watcher. He will point out the many different species that make this river environment their home. The remainder of the day is at your leisure in the restful environment of the Daintree Rainforest. This evening enjoy a Sunset cruise on the Daintree River where you will have the opportunity to spot for river wildlife including crocodiles. Included in your tour is birdwatching, swimming, rainforest walks. You will be returned to your hotel on completion of the tour. This morning transfer by scheduled transfer coach to Cairns airport in time for your seaplane transfer to Orpheus Island fringed by sheltered bays of unspoilt sandy beaches, wreathed in spectacular coral gardens and invigorated with native flora and fauna. Champagne, fresh fruits and chocolates will greet you on arrival. Your room tariff includes all meals and snacks - including one private exclusive dinner dining on the pier, picnic hampers, unlimited use of resort facilities / activities (some activities such as game fishing may incur an additional charge) and glass bottom boat coral viewing. The tour will include an orientation of Sydney from the historic Rocks to Macquarie Street, past the Royal Botanic Gardens to Mrs Macquarie's Chair for views of the city and harbour, the Eastern Suburbs, Vaucluse Harbour and Watsons Bay. Upon return to Sydney you will be dropped off at the Sydney Opera House where you can tour this famous landmark at your leisure. See spectacular views of the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Fort Denison, million dollar mansions and the bays and inlets that dot the harbour. You will be provided with lunch at Cottage Point and returned to your accommodation on completion of the tour.
