DAY 1   ARRIVE PERTH - AFTERNOON MARINERS TOUR

         Welcome to Perth Australia.  On arrival into Perth you will be met and assisted with your transfer to your hotel.  This afternoon your Mariners Tour begins with a scenic cruise on the Swan river which includes a detailed commentary plus tea, coffee and biscuits.  Cruise down the beautiful Swan river to Fremantle to enjoy a tour of the Historic Port City.  See Fremantle Harbour and the markets.  Time is allowed for you to learn of the seafaring history at one of the Maritime Museums.  Return to Perth via the beautiful metropolitan beach area.

DAY 2  FULL DAY PINNACLES 4-WHEEL DRIVE TOUR

(L)         Depart Perth in a unique 4-wheel drive vehicle, and travel to a koala wildlife park where you encounter cute koalas. Continue on through gently undulating countryside alive with wildflowers.  Keep a lookout for wild kangaroos and emus. Arriving into the fishing village of Cervantes, visit the Stromatolites, the world oldest living organism the enter the Painted Desert to see the mystical Pinnacles, ancient limestone pillars rising in contrast to the sandy dunes and enjoy lunch.  Leaving the Nambung National Park continue on to Grey a shanty town of lobster fishermen's huts scattered amid sand-dunes beside the beautiful crystal clear Indian Ocean.  More sand tracks lay ahead until we emerge atop a hill and enjoy 180 degree views of the most remote and beautiful beaches you will ever see.  You may see dolphins and seals before descending to the beach for a thrilling drive beside the foaming waves.  Continue to the fishing village of Wedge Point where you enter the brilliant white sand-dunes, Australia's own Sahara Desert.   After the excitement of the dunes drive through wild bush country where you will  see more varieties of wildflowers and in the late afternoon the chance to see wild kangaroos.  Pass through sand-dunes at Lancelin before rejoining the bitumen for our run back into the city.  (arrive Perth, approximately 8.00 PM).

DAY 3 PERTH TO BROOME (air)

             This morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Broome.  On arrival in Broome you will be transferred by courtesy coach to your hotel.

DAY 4    DAY AT LEISURE 

PICTURE         Today is free at leisure to explore this unique exotic town which was established as a Pearling Port in the 1880’s and features some of the most pristine beaches and bays you are likely to find including the famous Cable Beach.

DAY 5  BROOME TO KUNUNURRA (air)

                This morning transfer by courtesy coach to the airport for your flight to Kununurra.  On arrival in Kununurra you will be transferred by courtesy coach to your hotel.  This afternoon is free at leisure.

DAY 6  FULL DAY BUNGLE BUNGLES & ARGYLE DIAMOND MINE

(L)          This morning you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Kununurra Airport to board your scenic flight to the Argyle Diamond Mine.  On arrival you will receive a comprehensive tour of the world’s biggest diamond producer producing the rare and extremely valuable pink diamonds.   Your tour will take in the various aspects of diamond mining and processing and highlights include a visit to the Open pit (safety and security conditions permitting), a visit to the Diamond Viewing Room to see displays of rough and polished diamonds and a full buffet luncheon at the Argyle Village.  You will also have the opportunity to visit the general store where small selctions of genuine Argyle Daimonds can be purchased.   On completion of your visit return to Kununurra enjoying a scenic flight over the Bungle Bungle Ranges, Lake Argyle and the Ord River Dam, Packsaddle Plains Irrigation Area and the Ord River.  On arriving at Kununurra you will be transferred to your hotel.

DAY 7  KUNUNURRA TO DARWIN (air)

                  This morning transfer by courtesy coach to the airport for your flight to Darwin.  On arrival in Darwin transfer to your hotel.

DAY 8     DARWIN - KAKADU NATIONAL PARK (coach)

(L)               Early departure from Darwin.  Travel via the Adelaide River and Marrakai Plains deep into the National Park.  Watch out for wildlife, birds and wallabies, as we make our way to Cooinda and the famous Yellow Waters Billabong.  Here join an exciting boat cruise to observe the saltwater crocodiles and tropical birdlife.  View the new Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre, and learn about local Aboriginal culture.  After lunch visit Nourlangie Rock, an area of great archaeological significance and Aboriginal rock art, before continuing to Jabiru township.

DAY 9     KAKADU NATIONAL PARK - DARWIN (coach)

(L)               This morning cruise along the East Alligator River, bordering the rocky escarpment of Arnhem Land.  The opportunities to observe birdlife and crocodiles will be plentiful.  We generally have an Aboriginal guide with us and with the special permission of the local people, we will be able to go ashore in Arnhem Land.  Continue to Ubirr (Obiri Rock) where a great number of rock drawings can be viewed.  Visit the new Bowali Visitor Centre before returning to Darwin.  Arrive approximately 7.30 pm.

DAY 10  DARWIN TO CAIRNS (air)

DAY 11 GREAT BARRIER REEF WORLD HERITAGE PARK   

(L)               This morning board the Quicksilver, a high speed catamaran.  Your destination is the unique wilderness of the Outer Great Barrier Reef.  This is  your opportunity to explore the magic of the reef.  A Marine Biologist will conduct informative lectures on marine life during the day.  It is an area of extraordinary beauty, an amazing underwater world filled with colour and variety.  View the exotic reef, abounding with myriads of tropical fish for you to discover, and be amazed by the magnificent coral formations.  After lunch you may swim, snorkel, or ride in a submersible coral viewer.

DAY 12  KURANDA SCENIC RAIL -  SKYRAIL 

Skyrail                   This morning transfer to Freshwater Station, to board the scenic Kuranda Rail and journey through breathtaking scenery before arriving at picturesque Kuranda Station.  Free time to enjoy this unique mountain village before boarding the Skyrail, an enclosed cable car which takes you skimming across the rainforest canopy taking in breathtaking views of the Coral Sea and Green Island, to Carvonica Lakes at the base of the range.

DAY 15  SYDNEY HARBOUR CRUISE - SYDNEY CITY SIGHTS TOUR

                   This morning make your own way to Circular Quay for your cruise on magnificent Sydney Harbour.  See spectacular views of the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Fort Denison, million dollar mansions and the bays and inlets that dot the harbour.  This afternoon enjoy a city sights tour visiting the historical Rocks area, where the First Fleet landed in 1788 to establish Australia's first European settlement. Observe examples of early architecture and the beautiful sandstone buildings, made out of the same rocks which gave this area its name.  See St Mary's Cathedral, Parliament House, Darling Harbour and Chinatown. Visit Mrs Macquarie's Chair for splendid views over this magnificent harbour and the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. Continue on your coach tour through cosmopolitan Kings Cross, Rushcutters Bay and Double Bay. Visit Watsons Bay for spectacular views over the Pacific Ocean before stopping at the world famous Bondi Beach.
